WHAT IS VLSI TECHNOLOGY?
VLSI is a shortcut form of Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits. It is a technology by which 10000-1 Million Transistors can be fabricated on a single die. Every product comes through two stages, front end, and the backend. In the front end Design, we write the logic for the architecture of the project using any hardware description languages like Verilog or VHDL in IEEE VLSI PROJECTS. The code was then synthesized and simulated using the tools named XILINX ISE and MODELSIM.
An advantage includes, reduces the size of the circuits and required hardware to build up the circuits. The operating speed of the circuit will be increased by using optimal logic and the power consumption was reduced by applying the suitable encoder. The main goal of the Technology was to reduce one of the design metrics delay, power, and area.
The IEEE projects on this technology are doing by the B.Tech and M.Tech students in their academics. The projects domains in the Technology includes Low power designs, delay based projects, area reduction projects, less power consumption projects, NoC related projects. VLSI PROJECTS LIST
